Salad Bowl,Fresh Case Set,Toilet Brush-They're cleaning up

When sisters-in-law Maggie and Sara Mohs began creating their Simply Neutral line of natural Salad Bowl and organic cleaning products, the focus group that mattered most had only one member: Fresh Case Set Maggie.

Plagued by severe rashes, burning eyes Toilet Brush and headaches whenever she used commercial household cleaners, Maggie was found to have multiple chemical sensitivities in early 2007, right around the time her youngest child, Paige, now 6, was diagnosed with asthma and other allergies.

"I tried switching to some of the 'green' cleaners already on the market, but they didn't make much of a difference," said Maggie, who lives with her husband, Stephen, Paige and Noah, 8, in Becker.

Natural combinations of vinegar and baking soda didn't cause skin reactions, but in her part-time job as a house cleaner, Maggie found they weren't extremely effective.
